(My Smoked Butterflied Turkey with Survival Spice® from last year.)

It's our first year back in the Midwest, and we're on the road visiting family. It's one of the few years in the last 20 or so that I haven't been in the kitchen all day, so I find my hands making involuntary chopping and stirring motions...

Have a great day, we all have a lot to be thankful for, even in less than ideal economic conditions.

Peace, Paul

Gobble gobble, Chile! Hope you and Ms. Goofy had a great day.

I also found myself not cooking for 30 , for the first time in 30 yrs. Caroline and I went to a french restaurant for turkey w/ a twist>i actually got to eat,on thanksgiving,if you know what i mean. I find myself compelled to drag out the fryer this week and burn a bird ! We need to hook up neighbor. I'll blast down for lunch soon. ( on the amtrak train to chicago , I'm at the flossmoor stop )

That'll shave half an hour off the time by not going all the way downtown, JB. There's a Costco in Orland Park that's pretty close, I can combine a day trip, too.

Lauren made dinner for 20, then Chuck, Taylor, Ortopan and I played Axis and Allies....

A board game, or with fancy computers, Mark?

a good old fashioned board game.....Can you believe it?

Ah, analog. That was a great game.
