Oven BBQ Turkey Breast

In a never ending quest for variety at dinner time, this is a quick meal idea that worked out great.

I cubed a turkey breast, then seasoned well with Survival Spice®, which is great with any poultry I've experimented with. Placed in a cast iron skillet, I cooked it at a fairly low heat (275º) until it was most of the way finished, then I added some barbecue sauce to the skillet and let it simmer until it was done.

I cranked up the broiler to crisp it up, and we had it with baked potatoes and a salad.

Try it with beef, chicken, or pork shoulder.

How do you cubed a Turkey Breast? Did Julie eat any? I bet she only had the salad and potato.
We were wondering if, No we were pondering, No forget about it. There is no way that Julie would post about MEAT that she really craves but will not have. We know and respect that she holds the 1977 pasta. If She ate meat, what MEAT would she serve with 1977 pasta. Oh forgetaboutit!

Oh man, that looks pretty darned tasty. I'll bet that'd be good with chicken wings too. Got a hankerin' for some juicy wings.

Biggles

I actually tried a few hickory chips in there with it, Biggles. I love the smokey smell, but Julie, not so fond of it... I also dusted them with more SS at the end.

Chilebrown, I ate a few bites and would've eaten more, but it was one of my "I can't do meat" days. Some are worse than others.

And the hickory chips? Yeah. I wouldn't have minded those except for the way Scott was trying to smother me with smoke while I was on the elliptical. It's his favorite gag.

Oh, and why would you have to serve meat with a 1977 pasta? It already requires a steak knife!
