...Have you ever done it?:

Almost a third of young Britons have passed off a ready-made meal as their own creation in order to impress someone, according to a survey by the Department of Health on Monday.

Women were the worst offenders, with 40 percent saying they had claimed food bought in a shop as their own, compared to 22 percent of men.

Me? Nope, but then I have Survival Spice™ in the pantry! Ever had anybody pass off something that they didn't make?

Heck no, I've never done that. It'd be just like wearing a padded bra. The truth always comes out. :)

Survival Spice in Corn Chowder. The chowder ends up being kind of a backdrop for the marvelousness of the Survival Spice. Almost as good as the Pumpkin Seed Extravaganza.

Did you make chowder or did you tweak something you bought, Ana?

Nah, if I do ready-made, I end up partially disecting and rebuilding with my own touch.

It was homemade. Just a simple roux + chicken stock + corn/bacon/onion sautee puree + whole corn + more stock. Finished with sour cream and Survival Spice. Deeeeeelish.

I like the sour cream idea instead of regular cream, Ana. Probably adds a nice tang.

Buy Survival Spice®!
