Wow, the Maestro of Munchies has done it again!!! Jim, the creator of the popular Halloween Survival Seeds has created "Survival Party Mix".

Jim followed the recipe for Chex® Party Mix and substituted Survival Spice™ for the seasoned salt in the recipe, but mentioned in his email that he would substitute Survival Spice for the onion and garlic powder, too, when they make it again and I agree.

That said, here's Jim's recipe with his future modifications. Thanks, Jim!!!

Jim's Survival Party Mix

1/2 cup Land O Lakes Butter
2 tblsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 Tbsp. Survival Spice™
3 cups Corn Chex
3 cups Rice Chex
3 cups Wheat Chex
1 cup mixed nuts
1 cup pretzels
1 cup garlic-flavor bagel chips

1.) Heat oven to 250 degrees in a large ungreased roasting pan. Melt
butter in oven or on stove. Stir in SS. Gradually stir in remaining
ingredients until evenly coated.

2.) Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on paper towels until
cooled. Store in airtight container. 12 cups snack.

Oh, this is a great idea! Actually it reminded me of something else... I always made candied and spiced nuts around this time of year. I bet they'd be great with Survival Spice!

Wow, I'll bet it would, Meg. Let me know if you try it!

Mmmmmm. Why does party mix have to be so tasty?
